1985, 22 minutes, color, Arthur Clarke's Mysterious Universe
Summary
Clarke reviews the information about both the Yeti and Bigfoot. Yeti (aka the abominable snowman) has been reported by Sherpas for generations. Several expeditions to Nepal have reported seeing evidence and one man has a "cap" made from a Yeti's "scalp." Bigfoot (aka sasquatch) is reported from many areas of North America, but especially from the forests of the Northwest United States. Interviewed is Washington State University physical anthropologist Grover Krantz, who presents his case for Bigfoot being an ancient hominid species, gigantopithecus. Clarke remains skeptical.
