American Indians are among the most stereotyped people on the face of the planet. This class examines a wide range of issues surrounding the way Native Americans are represented, both good and bad, in everything from classroom textbooks to tourist "junk."

Evaluating Web Sites with Native American Content
Is the Web site you are looking at useful? More important, is it accurate? The Web is full of good and bad material, and though it's not foolproof, here is a guide to evaluating them. You'll also find links to some quality Web indexes on American Indians.
Here are some Web sites with a wide range of American Indian Materials relating to issues of representations, stereotypes, and images. Feel free to suggest links. Content will change as new links are added. Categories may emerge as more links get added.
